Can you imagine the outrage among the left if it was the right blowing up American car dealerships across the country? To this day, they are still talking about Jan. 6 so you can only imagine. Nonetheless, these people only condemn “terrorism” when it’s politically incorrect and that makes this so much worse.
This is why Scott Jennings said what needed to be said, which is that there is an emotional mob “willing to take things into their own hands....firebombing, and otherwise vandalizing cars, car dealerships, and charging stations."
On Tuesday, Teslas were set on fire at a Las Vegas service center and if this does not look like terrorism to the left then nothing will.
As Jennings said, many car owners are likely Democrats but the mob does not care, as their hate for Musk exceeds logic to the fullest extent. It should not be this hard to condemn this as what it is, which is domestic terrorism solely because they disagree with someone politically.
According to the FBI, domestic terrorism is "Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature." "So you can be the judge and label this as you please, but calling it anything else would be factually incorrect.
This is what the left does, they dance around violent, extremist acts committed by radical mobs in their party and label it anything but what it is. In the past several years, we went from the "mostly peaceful protests" to "peaceful" Tesla "protests."
In case it wasn’t clear, gaslighting Americans into disbelieving their own eyes to make your side look good never wins over swing voters. The goal here is to paint Musk as the villain, not the victim. So while they dance around the definitions of protests and terrorism, the media is not fooling anyone, and nonsense like this is exactly what made them largely irrelevant.
