If there was a better example of the disconnect leading into the 2024 election, it's this. Three corporate media elitists mocking voters' concerns about illegal immigration and Biden's border crisis. The lack of self-awareness in this clip should be marveled at and studied.
Super Tuesday was super for Donald Trump, who won everything except Vermont. In Virginia, voters said their number one issue was immigration. This was amusing to MSNBC's panel consisting of Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, and Jen Psaki. Concern about a border invasion instead of shrinkflation or January 6th? How adorable!
I know what some of you are thinking. "Hey Brodigan, wasn't Jen Psaki the White House press secretary DURING the start of the Joe Biden border crisis?"
Yes. Yes, she was. Hats off to you for paying attention!

I'm not a Virginia resident like the soulless ginger. I'm unfamiliar with the different issues affecting voters in that state. But if I were to guess why illegal immigration was voters' top concern -and this is just me sputballin'- I'd assume it's a mix of seeing how the Biden Border Crisis has wreaked havoc all through America for the past three years and Renzo Mendoza Montes.
Renzo is the illegal who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl. In Virginia. And was arrested last week.
Mendoza was arrested on one felony charge of carnal knowledge of a child without force and one felony charge of taking indecent liberties with a child, the sheriff's office said.
Officials said Mendoza is a Venezuelan citizen who is in the country illegally after being previously detained and released by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol in El Paso, Texas, on Sept. 2, 2023.
Mendoza has since been residing in Campbell County, Virginia, officials said.
By all means, Democrats and cable news journalismers (but I repeat myself). Laugh at concern over illegals. Mock voters who don't understand economic charts as much as they do grocery receipts that are $1000+ more expensive a month. Insult parents concern about their daughters having sports opportunities stolen from them by boys.
Keep yucking it up.
