It’s unclear how many times Trump or Elon Musk have to confirm that no one has plans to cut social security or Medicaid, but that won’t stop the left from blatantly lying about that.
CNN’s Abby Phillip tried to make that claim, despite having no evidence to back it up, and was put in her place by former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
How did she find the nerve to make up something Musk never said? It’s either the case that she’s lying or does not fact-check her claims, and yes, both can be true at the same time.
It sounds like she missed his speech altogether.
It also seems like this is the only form of "evidence" she used in her foolish statements.
She first went from "Musk said it" to "Doge employees said it" to "Do you think there are risks here?" She then tried to justify her claims that it's not true that there is fraud in social security and that it is nothing more than a Republican conspiracy theory. So, instead of admitting she lied, she tried to play it off like she really intended to ask a question about risks. You really cannot make that level of insanity up. So while the left claims it's the other side lying about government efficiency, they are the ones actually caught making things up.
It's unclear why the left despises ending fraudulent payments so much, but that is the hill they have chosen, and it's not a good look, to say the very least.
