We are six days removed from Donald Trump's overwhelming victory on Election Day. He won and/or massively improved among every demographic across the board outside of, maybe, bitter women who watch a lot of MSNBC. Some lefties are reacting to the news better than others. Kamala Harris is enjoying game night with her grandkids and a glass of wine, and Joe Biden is back on the beach. Others still can't calm down, like Yale Psychiatrist Dr. Amanda Calhoun. The shrink is encouraging people to act crazy and shun family members who may have had a different opinion than them.
She was a guest on racist Joy Reid's show.
According to the psychiatrist, it is totally normal not to want to spend the holidays with relatives who, on Election Day, voted for a different person than you did. Something about "prioritizing" your mental health. And not, like, you know, admitting you have a mental problem being this emotional over politics.
So if you're going through a situation where you have family members, close friends who you know have voted in ways that are against ... your livelihood, it’s completely fine to not be around those people & tell them why; to say 'I have a problem with the way that you voted because it went against my very livelihood and I’m not going to be around you this holiday.
There was a lot of misinformation spread during this election. I get it. Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) claimed without evidence that Donald Trump was a fascist who was a "threat" to democracy. We now know they didn't mean it.
There was a disinformation campaign to redefine miscarriages as illegal under the Roe v Wade repeal so Democrats could push their gross pro-abortion agenda.
And if you're a Woman-American who gets the bulk of your news from celebrities and TikTok influencers (and MSNBC), you may have been misled into believing you have less rights than you used to. The amount of people on the left who are allowed to spread the politics of fear on media outlets like MSNBC is shameful.
Here's the thing, though. I’m going to go on a limb and say that if you are the type of person who would disown family members over who they voted for, your family will be the ones happy they don’t have to deal with you during the holidays anymore. And haven't wanted to deal with you since you first came home for Christmas break in 2009 with a PowerPoint presentation on Obamacare.
